2) As a result of negotiations with contract employers, a majority of ITPEU members are participants of three (3) ITPEU Benefits Plans. The Health and Welfare Plan provides benefits for employee and his/her dependents. The Pension Plan provides pension benefits for the employee. The Annual Benefit Fund provides vacation, holiday, sick leave, bereavement leave, training pay and jury duty.  To learn more about the ITPEU Benefit Plans, see www.itpeubenefits.com.

3) The ITPEU is governed by its Constitution. The Constitution provides for the nomination and election of a President, Secretary-Treasurer, one Vice President and twenty additional convention delegates, all of whom are elected every three years by a majority vote of the ITPEU members in good standing.

The ITPEU Convention, attended by the elected officers and delegates, is held every four years during the month of March.
