2) As a result of negotiations with contract employers, a majority of ITPEU members are participants of three (3) ITPEU Benefits Plans. The Health and Welfare Plan provides benefits for employee and his/her dependents. The Pension Plan provides pension benefits for the employee. 3) The ITPEU is governed by its Constitution. The Constitution provides for the nomination and election of a President, Secretary-Treasurer, one Vice President and twenty additional convention delegates, all of whom are elected every three years by a majority vote of the ITPEU members in good standing.
The ITPEU Convention, attended by the elected officers and delegates, is held every four years during the month of March.
